Privacy Policy

VoiceLocket exists so you can share voice notes with people you choose. We collect only what the app needs to work, we never sell your data, and your notes are only ever shared with the friends you send them to.

Account information. Your phone number (used to create and secure your account), your name, and your username.

Content you create. Voice recordings, captions, and emoji reactions you send through the app. These are delivered to the friends you address them to and stored so your conversation history works.

Contacts (optional). If you grant contacts access, we use the phone numbers in your address book to show you which of your contacts already use VoiceLocket. Your contact list is used for matching only — we do not store your address book or contact anyone on your behalf.

Device information. A push notification token so friends' notes can reach you, and basic diagnostic information to keep the service running.

Purchases. Subscriptions are processed by Apple. We receive confirmation of your subscription status but never see your payment details.

To deliver voice notes and reactions to the people you choose, to show you which of your contacts are on VoiceLocket, to send you notifications you've opted into, to provide premium features you've purchased, and to keep the service safe and reliable. That's it.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for advertising. Your content is visible only to you and the friends you send it to. We use trusted infrastructure providers (such as our hosting and database provider) to operate the service; they process data on our behalf under their own security commitments.

Your content is kept while your account is active so your history works. You can unsend notes you've sent (Premium) and you can delete your account, which removes your profile, notes, and reactions from our systems. To request deletion, use the in-app option or email us at support@voicelocketapp.com.

Data is encrypted in transit, and access to production systems is restricted. No system is perfectly secure, but we design for the minimum data necessary and protect what we hold.

VoiceLocket is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.

If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update this page and note the new date above. Continued use of VoiceLocket after changes means you accept the updated policy.
